2007-2008 Events

Fall 2007 Events

November 28, 2007 at 1:00pm – The Future of the Environment

The teleconference will explore the topic of "The Future of the Environment" and sharing data, perspectives, and trends around:

  • How the changing environment affects us today (air, water, land, access to natural resources, ...)
  • Future impact of business on environment (pluses and minuses, domestically and internationally)
  • Scenarios of how the environment may affect food sources
  • Scenarios of how the environment may affect energy sources
  • Other topics introduced through panelist input and participant questions

Futurists deal with forecasts about the future, not predictions, and we use the four P's as a general guideline: discussing the probable, possible, preventable, and preferable scenarios.
